We are ELSK®

Established in 2013 – in Thy, Denmark.

ELSK® was founded in 2013 by Lukas L. Leszczynski and Lars Riis, who both grew up in the northern part of Denmark, Thy. They moved away to study, work abroad and to travel. Their paths crossed again in the beginning of 2013, when they decided to create ELSK®, a small fashion brand inspired by their roots in Thy, which is strongly focused on sustainability.

Our purpose

Creating a company that offers the best value-for-money clothes in the world, while using our business to lead the way in creating sustainable fashion and inspire both consumers and other businesses to focus on the environment.


Our vision is to make the best value-for-money clothes in the world. ELSK is a company that challenges what is established, breaks out from the norm and guides people to choose better and long-lasting products. We want to make a difference, a real difference. For us, treating our manufacturers with respect and value their work as well as respecting the environment are a must. We want to give something back to nature and to the people who support us. We are racing to the top and not to the bottom. We are striving for better instead of cheaper.

The way we think:

We want to challenge what is established, break out from the norm, target the niche and guide people towards the choice of better and more durable products. We want to create an ELSK-universe which can inspire people to choose high-quality products and provide knowledge and consciousness about how the fashion industry works. Our main focus is to build a remarkable company and show our love for what we do. Therefore, we create products of superior quality and run our business in an innovative and lean way. We want to be a market leader in sustainable and circular clothing. For us, it is crucial to focus on leaving as small a footprint as possible and treating nature with respect.

We want to build a community around our brand and our vision. A tribe of people who identify themselves with our values and engage with us towards a common goal. Therefore, we interact with our customers, by communicating with them, among others through social media, and by building a personal relationship with them. We are committed to sharing our values with our customers and the people we collaborate with.
